Marketing
The Marketing concentration was designed to assist students in developing skills for careers in sales, advertising, marketing research, product management, retailing, international business, and marketing management.
"Students sometimes think that marketing doesn't require a lot of math or computer skills. They are half-right. Some jobs, like sales, draw heavily on interpersonal skills. Other areas like advertising require a lot of creativity and social insight, but often not much math. Some kinds of market research, like qualitative work, also don't require much math. However, many areas of marketing like quantitative market research, database marketing management, sales forecasting, etc. require a lot of quantitative and/or computer skills."
